SummaryOn this week's "Detention" episode, Jay & Gary, our favorite delinquents, have brought up some seriously "heavy-hitting" topics. They were supposed to have Jay as a guest. Instead, things turned unexpected when Gary told a hilarious story about an attempt to put a bear in the UFC locker room courtesy of Johnny Knoxville of Jackass fame. But that's not all! They also dive into the exciting new sport of "PowerSlap," a form of slap fighting that has taken the world by storm. With its intense camera angles and high FPS footage, it's easy to see why this sport has become so popular. The hosts discuss the fascinating ways people's faces react to the slaps and knockouts, making for a genuinely captivating viewing experience. Our episode concludes with a discussion about how our society can be predatory regarding healthcare costs at our weakest times. Also, how political affiliations and clothing associated with them can provide a warning flag so you don't have to engage in unwanted political discussions. Living the life we want requires walking on a rocky path. But with different tools, religion, and spirituality, we can make it through and attain an enjoyable life.Tune in as Amrit Singh discusses how he reaches his goal of living his pleasant life with yoga and how spirituality can help us be better people.Summary:Sometimes in our lives, we stumbled and struggled to get back up to continue our journey. Discover how we can reach our goal of a prosperous life and the tools we can use to be better people.Let us hear high-performance spiritual and life coach Amrit Singh as he dives into the path he takes to reach a peaceful and prosperous life through meditation, yoga, and spirituality. Amrit began to stray from the road when he was 14 to 15 years old and began consuming cigarettes, cannabis, etc. During that time, a friend introduced him to a yoga teacher who was eager to assist them, which piqued his interest in yoga. He finally broke through his toxic way of life through yoga after repeated efforts and was able to stay free from it for 25 years. Amrit is assisting people in identifying and implementing the most critical aspects of their lives to live the way they want to.Quotes:We must recognize that until there is a dollar sign at the end of someone’s advice and assistance, their heart is in the right place based on the reality that they have operated inside.Be kinder and open your heart, and things will improve. Don’t be an asshole.Being prosperous is about good health, good relations, enjoying your life, having a nice place to live, and seeing your children go up.Our job is to find a way to show them that the lenses don’t need to be tinted and that they can just live clearly and let life be.Religion is authenticity. It’s telling you to be yourself.Takeaway:When you’re good at something, such as sports or writing, the ego factor comes with it. And we need to be careful with it.Money is an expression of energy, a tool we utilize to exchange goods and services. The more you stack them up, the less you can use them. What we educate the next generation is unrelated to what we tell the next generation. Our actions impact the next generation up to seven generations in the future. If you can use going to church as a tool to be a better person, then do it because that’s what makes you better. As humans, we value authenticity in others but not in ourselves. So mimicry will not assist you since it will gradually fade away. Everyone suffers trauma. But it’s how we choose to deal with it. One perspective is to look at your own trauma as stored energy that needs to be released. You cannot get over your emotional pain without allowing yourself to feel it. Listen here as Ann Hince shares her journey of emotional self-awareness and how something called EFT or “tapping” helped her get over her past. Summary:When we, as humans, experience emotional trauma, we tend to “choose” to forget about it. We tell ourselves that happiness is a choice. So, when we are upset, we ignore the pain that comes with the trauma. Join Ann Hince, a professional speaker, author, & Spiritual Teacher, as she takes us through the steps of how to heal from your past emotionally. Ann began her journey of healing after a verbal altercation with two mothers at her son’s school. Once she realized her reaction was based on her past with her father, she was able to begin her journey of self-discovery and heal her traumas.Takeaway: ⛔️Trauma can be looked at as pent-up energy that needs release💯How we interpret how others may feel about us may reflect how we feel about ourselves.🧍🏼‍♂️Though we may not be able to control certain events in our lives, we can control our we react.💡You cannot get over your past unless you allow yourself to feel the emotions that came with it.Quotes: “We are not replaying the same events; we are replaying the same feelings.”“The whole of us is a signal. And that signal we emit into the universe gets established in those first few years of life when we live in our subconscious more.”“My whole story is finding my truth and accepting it.”“I did not know at that point what my feelings were because I had suppressed them for so long.”“We can always take responsibility for what is happening around us by looking at how we feel about it.”Timeline:[3:35] – Beginning of Ann’s self-discovery[9:05] – Choosing to acknowledge our feelings[11:45] – Explaining EFT[17:51] – Personal EFT experience[26:25] – Releasing your past[36:18] – Self escapism[38:45] – Mental Health & Medication[49:47] – Self Love[57:33] –Get in touch with AnnResources:Ann Hince’s social media:Linkedin: https://www.linkedin.com/in/annhince/Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/ann.hince/Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/AnnHinceWisdom/Ann Hince’s Book: https://www.amazon.com/Pathway-Insight-Re-capture-your-childhood-ebook/dp/B08P22YF22?ref_=ast_sto_dpConnectMake sure to list guest links here...Visit our website to find links to our YouTube channel, other social media, show notes, and more!Make a beautiful podcast website with Podpage.Explore professional recording options with Riverside.fm.Like Jay's t-shirt from this episode? Meeting and exceeding goals requires effort and perseverance. Obstacles and setbacks are unavoidable, and what counts most is the seriousness with which you resolve to overcome such failures. Listen here as Brandon Puffer shares how he recovered after hitting rock bottom and how he reminds others that redemption is possible.Summary:Failure is unavoidable, and the first step toward preventing failure is recognizing that it is normal. When things don’t go as planned, it’s not the end of the world and merely a stumbling block. Failure is a part of the trip; the most crucial part is getting back up.Join Brandon Puffer, a former professional baseball pitcher, as he explores the path to realizing his aspirations. Brandon chose to share his story with the world to inspire others after a big fall off the field ruined his career. He played 15 seasons of professional baseball, with the Boston Red Sox winning the 2004 World Series being the peak of his career. Unfortunately, one foolish decision resulted in a 5-year prison sentence, thereby ending his professional baseball career.Takeaway:⛔Your judgments and failures don’t define who you are.💯People are sometimes so focused on perfection that they sometimes fail to realize that it is okay to make mistakes because mistakes are where we learn.🧍‍♂️Everything that happens in your life is because of your decisions. Be responsible and do not blame others for it.💡Knowing your reason to live would be beneficial. Quotes:“You’re much bigger than any judgments or mistakes you’ve made.”“My greatest foe was not wanting anyone else to know I was messed up.”“You can choose who you want to get about with, and there are many ways to get in there and go in a different route.”“Regardless of everyone’s point of view or faith, you’re here for a reason, and you need to figure out what that is.”“Whatever you give me to do, I’ll do it with a grin and hard labor. We are limited from achieving our highest potential by the fears we have developed due to our past experiences. We're not supposed to judge, and we're not supposed to judge our experiences; instead, we should take what we've learned and move on. Tune in as Birgitta Visser discusses how she managed her life from experiencing traumas to taking responsibility for her actions and healing herself.Summary:A seed needs the ground to grow; we, too, must hit the ground to become our most authentic selves and realize our full potential. As you progress through life, you'll continue to draw inspiration from those dependent on the chair around you. Join Birgitta Visser as she shares how you can channel your inner self, be more authentic and understand life and how she studied many healing modalities and healed herself. She's a self-empowerment coach and a light configurator who works with light beings to aid humanity. The juncture where Birgitta's life changed was in 2009. She had a very traumatic experience and had toxic relationships. But she wanted and needed a change in her life, and the only way she would do that was to take responsibility. That was because she blamed many other people even though she wanted to change. Birgitta started with Reiki healing which was her saving grace.Quotes:"You're like an onion. In every experience, you peel back a layer, you cry, and you must go through the hell of the experience to expand your awareness. Then you get the next experience, the next one, and so forth. But the more you become aware, the easier life becomes.""When we're in the thick of a traumatic experience, and we can't find a way out, when you look at it from above, it seems so small. Why did we get so absorbed in our drama and experiences when we can easily let go and move forward and look at things from a different perspective?""When we talk about Christianity, it's a bloody rulebook indoctrinated by fear; you cannot do this, you cannot do that. But I live my life the way I choose to, whether people like me or not. That is not my problem.""This is what we create within ourselves. We are either our greatest healers because we've got all the tools within or our worst enemy, and we create that disease within ourselves.""If people judge me, it doesn't bother me. It's fine. I am who I am. And I don't apologize for who I am, who I've become, and who I will be becoming."Takeaway:😎 It doesn't matter what people think of you. What matters is what you feel about yourself.💡 The light within us is the same as everyone else's, and there is no difference between us except for our physical appearance. 🤷 You only know what you know when you know it. It's how people view you based on information that you haven't even had a chance to read.👩‍⚖️Don't judge yourself. Don't be so harsh on yourself. 🧠 Our soul is pure, and it's perfect. We all carry limiting ideas that prevent us from succeeding in the business and life we want. 95% of our lives are under the control of our subconscious mind, which operates on autopilot. By reshaping your perspective, you can transform into a spiritual alchemist who can use all we go through for our highest good. When you do that, you produce stronger vibrations that enable you to draw in more of the life you want, enabling you to achieve success easily.
Summary:
There is an energy that pulls humanity back over time. It is the thing that prevents people from fully realizing their potential, accepting who they are, and achieving their aspirations.
Join Business and Spiritual Mindset Coach, 3x Author, Podcaster, and Pediatric Chiropractor Dr. Vic Manzo, as he discusses his journey as a chiropractor, business reframing, the importance of having the proper mindset, and many more. "What matters is where you're coming from."
"The more that foundation is, whatever you're going to do will be successful, and it will be perfect and aligned to what you're gonna do."
"You have to go if you want to figure these things out. Don't listen to what anyone tells you to do unless it helps you find your own craft."
"We look outside ourselves to get approval instead of looking within. That's why we care so much about what other people think."
"Comfort is the killer of all dreams."
Takeaway:

SummaryThis episode is about kicking back and discussing random things as friends do. Our OG guest this week is episode 4 alumni Sarah Donna, five-time Miss Michigan, circus trapeze artist, actress, influencer, model, and grilled cheese connoisseur. With such incredible accomplishments, you could not ask for a more humble and gracious guest, not to mention hilarious. Random Topic 1:Sarah shares her Sunday recipe for a bloody Mary with grilled cheese. Everyone loves a warm grilled cheese and tomato soup might as well stir in some vodka. Be sure not to run after a bloody mary, or you could get heartburn and need a shower afterward. Random Topic B:Did you know Sarah takes cold showers? And men use minimal and all-in-one hygiene products? A bar of dial soap is still used by Jay, while Gary uses body wash. In case you were wondering... Jay talks about how he saw a video about the benefits of cold showers and dopamine and how taking an ice-cold shower raises endorphin levels and then tapers off over time. Random Topic 3:Are you interested in a bidet? Jay brings up a previous episode of the Reckless Bitch Podcast containing a quote from Sarah in which she said she always had the cleanest ass at 7-11 whenever she was present. Sarah explains how she installed her bidet. Need a blow dry after a cold sprite to your posterior? Stop by Japan. Everyone agrees that theirs is the most advanced, with blow dryers and an uplifting tune on completion.Need a pallet of toilet paper? See Sarah. Purchasing in mass quantities at the highest quality is a must. Remember to use wipes for that fresh feeling when there's no bidet around. You can even Subscribe to receive your TP. Random Topic D:Would you like to remove all those pesky subscriptions of TP and other items from your bank account that you forgot? It's as simple as canceling your debit card and getting a new one, the preferred group method for cleaning out your random subscriptions. Random Topic 5:Jay points out that Sarah has the best Twitter handles, such as "Glizzy McGuire" and Postmates Malone." Speaking of Tweets, Sarah is taking on all Bootlickers and then maybe a career in slap fighting? Random Topic F:Have you ever wanted to slap someone? Jay chooses his High School Bully, while Sarah chooses the IRS and other entities. You could get your teeth slapped out. Random Topic 6:Before you get them slapped out, remember to brush your teeth. The difference between growing up with fluoride and without is covered. Jay points out how he had teeth problems from well water and the army, while Sarah did not and grew up with fluoride. Random Topic H: Do you want to avoid peeing your pants? Then you may want to lay off the caffeine. Sarah explained how she had a problem due to caffeine intake and how she had to limit it. Random Topic 8:You've probably got a phobia or quirk. Sarah hates seeing blood pump or feeling it under her skin. Jay cannot write with a pencil, and Gary hates airport bathrooms with carpets (gross). Always a great time when you can sit with friends and talk about anything and everything. It took two years for her to be fully acknowledged by the people.Quotes:"Once you can start accessing those certain experiences of fear or trauma, slowly, you can start to overcome them because you can start processing them.""You have to think that a child looks at the world in a different way; the whole world revolves around the child.""Animals, no matter which one, helps you to get in a better hormonal state and create this happiness, this well-being, this loving feeling.""Animals can sense all of our mental illnesses and so on. The moment that we start looking somewhere that doesn't exist, that's the moment that animals start to intervene.""Learn to love like a dog."Takeaway:People need to remember that this kind of perspective on reality is only sometimes the result of an outside catalyst. It could be a simple misinterpretation of a facial expression as to how someone feels about you. When you receive mental health coaching, you properly prepare your mind and break free from this highly tight emotional attachment. You experience the release of endorphins, dopamine, and oxytocin, which are your happy hormones, when you pet an animal, whether a dog or a cat, even for three to five minutes.Animals love you as you are, without any layers. You don't have to pretend anything, and you don't have to put on a show.
